This site is a tribute to George Wood, who was born in East Grinstead on January 25, 1922 - died January 21, 2020.
Husband to Joan (deceased) and Father to Anne, Helen, Sarah, Ruth and Clare.
Grandfather to Shaun, Emma, Rachel, Sarah, Dylan, Elliot, Shannon and Meryem.
Dad lived a full and rich life in which he positively impacted so many people. He died peacefully, knowing he was loved and fully prepared for his final flight.
He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Thoughts
It is a privilege to have been part of such an amazing story - Dad's story - an ordinary man who went through some extraordinary experiences and positively impacted sooo many lives! I am glad you were "saved" so that I am able to continue your story through the following generations. Sadly I will not be able to attend the funeral service, but know that I am with you all in heart and spirit and will be celebrating with you from Australia. Sending loads of love
